Aloha! I'm Brandie, the founder of Nectar & Nest and fellow sourdough lover!
Creativity has always been at the heart of who I am. From stitching homemade crafts to decorating wedding cakes, I’ve always found joy in creating beauty with my hands. My journey began in fashion design, where I fell in love with the art of pattern and form — a love that continues today as a surface designer and the creative force behind Nectar & Nest.
Nectar & Nest was born from my desire to blend design with the beautiful craft of baking bread — creating products that are as functional as they are inspiring. As a Native Hawaiian illustrator and former Miss Hawaii USA turned eco-entrepreneur, I wanted to design pieces that help modern makers like you and I solve everyday challenges (like keeping our homemade loaves fresh, longer) while encouraging a slower, more sustainable way of living.
Whether I’m baking bread, sketching new patterns, or dreaming up the next collection, my mission is to help makers connect deeply with their creativity, thrive in their craft, and bring joy to the moments that matter most.
